Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake joins ICAS!

The International Council of Air Shows is a 501 (c)(6) not-for-profit trade association composed of professionals working in the air show community. Approximately 40 percent of the organization’s members are air show event organizers from the United States, Canada and the rest of the world. Another 40 percent of the organization’s members are individuals or organizations that perform at air shows. And the remaining 20 percent are support service providers who offer ancillary services (concessions, insurance, photography, etc.) to the air show community.

Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation

The CCVF foundation has been established to raise monies to assist with the physical and emotional recovery and rehabilitation of wounded, injured and disabled military personnel and veterans with a focus on those individuals residing in and organizations serving the Northeast Texas region. The foundation’s principal fundraising activity is the Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake air show presented during the July 4th Holiday timeframe each year. Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation: Fisher House Donation

The Cedar Creek Veterans Foundation presented a check for $20,000 to Lydia Henderson, Program Director of the Fisher House in Dallas, on November 29th.  The donation is double that given to the non-profit by the Foundation a year ago and represents the proceeds from the Thunder Over Cedar Creek Lake Air Show held on July 3rd and other fundraising events during 2010.  >> Read More
